We stayed at Morokolo Safari Lodge for 2 nights and had an incredible time. The lodge is located in the Black Rhino game reserve, within the stunning Pilanesberg national park. The rooms were comfortable and the communal lounge area was perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed the self-service bar, wi-fi, and indoor/outdoor seating. The highlight was the game drives with our knowledgeable guide, Riann, who even took us on a walking safari. We hope to visit again in the future.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The individual suites were well set up with good electrical points, including two USB power points in each room, which was a great boon for our electronic devices. The suites were impeccably finished and looked after. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The lodge being situated in the "wilderness area" of the Pilanesberg was a great boon. The main lodge was well equipped and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The game drives were excellent, with knowledgeable drivers. The meals at the lodge and the service provided at the neighboring lodge were top-notch. The pool area was a relaxing spot to unwind. Our guide, Humbu, made our game drives truly memorable with his expertise and focus on animal behavior. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Our stay at Morokolo Safari Lodge in Pilanesberg was an incredible experience for our large family. The lodge's location on the northern slopes of the Pilanesberg mountain range within the Black Rhino Game Reserve provided a stunning backdrop for our adventures. The game drives allowed us to witness the richness of African fauna and flora, with the opportunity to spot the 'Big Five' and other wildlife freely roaming around. The knowledgeable and passionate guide, Ryaan, made the drives even more enjoyable, despite the stormy weather. The spacious and well-designed rooms with an African touch provided a comfortable stay for the entire family. We particularly loved the indoor/outdoor bathroom, where we could watch birds while taking a bath or shower.
For dads, it would be great to have more activities specifically designed for families with children.

This place is heaven. The accommodation is superb with everything you need for a self-catering stay. The bush drives were amazing with knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly rangers. The children loved being outside and chatting with the helpful and friendly staff. The braai area, fire pit, and outside seating were excellent, allowing us to enjoy meals under the stars listening to the animals. Just a magical experience.

We got great value for our money at this lodge - the room was spacious and luxurious, with a cozy fireplace and plenty of privacy. The location was perfect, surrounded by the beauty of nature, and the staff treated us with exceptional kindness and helpfulness.
The breakfast offerings could be improved by providing a wider variety of options.
